South by Southeast late 2018 - early 2019 |
At first glance our winter plans look fairly simple: drive the motor home south to our campsite in Florida for the season. Experience has taught us that's it's smart to do this before the snow flies, so we'll leave early fall with plans to drive the car back home for the holidays. We'll stop in the Carolina's along the way to catch up with family.
After a short stay in Florida, we'll fly east to Lisbon to board a small cruise ship that will travel along the Mediterranean coast to Barcelona. Then we'll board the Symphony of the Seas, a huge cruise ship for the trip back to Florida.
After thawing out after the holidays, we'll head all the way south from Florida for an Antarctic sail. Visiting this seventh continent is both exciting and terrifying. Not so simple.
