Sep 30, 2014 - Last days in Wisconsin

Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 The weather has been very nice but the leaves are all changing colors and falling of the trees so it’s time to head south. We made our last flyer delivery a couple of weeks ago and finally had time to stop and eat at Art Johnsons in Sister Bay, Door County. See the picture of the goats on the roof. Sharon had the Swedish meatballs and I enjoyed the pickled hearing plate. The egg sculptures up in Egg Harbor, Door County are interesting. After getting a new window put in the motorhome we spent one night in the casino...

Sep 2, 2014 - Wisconsin, Dar and Charlie

August 29, 2014 We had a good drive to Dar and Charlie’s (more buds from the hood in Texas), in Union Grove, Wisconsin. We got there about 1:30 pm and Charlie and Craig, one of their sons, helped us get parked in their back yard. Man, what a spot, concrete slip, 30 amp electric, great water pressure and a beautiful lawn to enjoy while we are here. (FREE TOO) You will notice my Scottish heritage showing through. Jun 18, 2008 - Union Grove, WI

Union Grove WI is a beautiful small town located just west of Racine and Kenosha...and it is also the home of son Bill and his wife Peggy--and dog-buddies Teddy and Ernie. We were able to fit the coach into their driveway, and we even had 50 amp service! It has been a little over a year since we saw Peg and Bill and it was wonderful to see them again! Our visits with them are not as frequent as we would like due to the distance involved. The weather turned nice after ALL the rain we have seen since.....well, Virginia. It was cool and...
