Jun 23, 2017 - Minnehaha Park, Mall of America, Hixton KOA Wisconsin

We left this morning at 8:30 so that we could avoid rush hour as we headed for the Twin Cities, Minneapolis and St. Paul. First stop was Minnehaha Park. We walked along the trails and boardwalk that go along the Minnehaha Creek. Minnehaha Falls is beautiful. It was a very pretty area with a big park and biking trails as well. They had bicycles for rent there and you could ride them and return them to another area. Next we went to the 96.4 acre Mall of America in Bloomington. It's the largest shopping and entertainment destination in the US....

Jul 3, 2012 - And the reason we delayed was....???

Maybe this???? If we'd been at the cabin we would have lost our pickup and AirStream to downed trees!! Cabin is fine but sounds like we now live in a big field! ha Brother Pete says there are probably 20 trees down across the driveway.. at least one across the chain link fence and more where we park the trailer!! So we were extremely lucky!! Here are some details: http://www.bemidjipioneer.com/event/article/id/100041547/ Hope all is well with everyone!! God Bless!! ... (and please send more angels!!) ^_^ P & E

Oct 5, 2011 - Our adventure so far....

Finally... a few sites from our trip so far! Obviously trees play an important part in this business... ;) P didn't get any pictures of the boys playing football but both Royce & Ben won their games! He also got to see a Gopher Hocky Game... We spent food time with both sets of favorite relatives... JP's at Buco di Beppo and the sister's at California Pizza Kitchen. Great food! Great time! Today we're heading on toward the Jodi & Ken household... hopefully the new grandbabe will get her ASAP so we can get to hold him/her for a while......

May 17, 2007 - Hixton, Wisconsin

We are headed northwest again. Well, actually north and then west. We take scenic Route 45 north to Oshkosh where there are great views of Lake Winnebago. From Oshkosh we head west on Route 21. The lilacs are in bloom and this area is just as you would picture Wisconsin. There are lots of cows and dairy farms here. We even see a wood stork in an open field. Of course we make a U-Turn to go back and identify it. No wonder we never get very far in a day! Our only problem of the day is getting to the Hixton KOA. The road it is on is closed....
