Aug 22, 2013 - Clicking

Day 2 at Ebey's Landing - second full day, at least. Looking out over Puget Sound, there's a fairly steady stream of seaplanes and Navy aircraft flying over, along with the regular ferries to and from Port Townsend. Aug 20, 2013 - Wandering a bit

Started the day at Deception Pass State Park, headed into Oak Harbor for breakfast and the inevitable workday. Can't argue with shrimp and grits for breakfast - yum. Spent the day working at Oak Harbor Beach Park - nice little boardwalk, and a picnic table for an office. After work, I wandered down the road to Coupeville, and checked out the huge cannons at For Casey State Park. I'm not really sure who we were defending against (one dad passing by said "the British", then laughed). Interesting park, apparently the camprground is popular...
