We did not have far to go so made a leisurely getaway. Our goal was the home of our summer supervisors, Don and Sherry. Since we had all been summoned to California for some training, they had graciously invited us to park in their yard while we all flew to California. So we did that, even though the directions we somewhat iffy on occasion! We had such a good time with them. They have quite a large place on the river. Mar 14, 2011 - Off to the Karimi's

This morning we got up early, packed the rig and hooked up the car and said our "Good Bye" to Dick and Marilyn. We will be driving about 300 miles ending up at Canyon Lake, TX. We will be getting back together with John and Jan. We stayed at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground right on Canyon Lake. We arrived, unhooked our Jeep from the motorhome and drove back into San Antonio to have dinner with John and Jan and John's family. It was wonderful. Nov 5, 2010 - Off to Hoss (WA3ZAI) and Margareth

Today we left John and Bonnie at and headed to Valley Mills, TX to visit with some long time "Ham Radio" friends. When we got their Hoss and Margareth took us to the Bunk House BBQ for dinner. It was nice. Then we sat around and visited and then off to bed.
