Oct 28, 2013 - Day 4
Texas finally...we are in Porter Texas tonight it's about 10 miles from Houston. Tomorrow we will be at Seawind...yippee!! It is so hot it's unbelievable...current temperature here is 86...sorry everyone at home, but it's honestly going to take some getting use to this heat again. We are at RV Park of Kingwood and it is by far the worst park we have ever stayed at...but hey at least they have wifi...so it can't be all bad! That's it for today the next entry we will be at our winter home :) if we survive Houston.Jump to full entry
Mar 25, 2012 - Kingwood RV in Porter TX
PORTER, TX We stopped at Kingwood RV northeast of Houston, TX for two nights. 82 degrees when we arrived….too much heat to suit Peggy. It’s a nice, small campground. This is a stopover on our way east. We have decided to head east along the gulf coast-- not sure where we will end up--keep watching for our whereabouts. Ahhhh, the joy of being retired with nothing specific to do!!!! (FYI for our Dr. B in answer to another frantic email……..thanks for helping yet again…..Christy is back to normal!! Two days of pepto bismol did the trick!!)Jump to full entry
