Another beautiful day in Texas and we are going to visit Fredericksburg, and Grapetown Texas. Fredericksburg is seventy miles west of Austin in the central part of the county. The town was one of a projected series of German settlements from the Texas coast to the land north of the Llano River. In August 1845 John O. May 3, 2007 - Fredericksburg,Texas

What a neat town, we drove up here with Gary and had lunch and knew we needed more time here. As of May 1st. the Fredericksburg RV park goes on Passport America rates for 2 days so we will stay right close to town. There is a lot of history here including the National Museum of the Pacific War. We drove up here Wednesday after getting our first package of lot info from Hondo and filling that out-now we just wait to hear if we got a lot or next months lot package to arrive and start over with choices.
