Date: April 8, 2017 Weather: partly sunny Temperature: start 68º High 82º Wildlife count: Year List: Birds: 223 Lots of guests joined us this morning at Hawk Watch, and we saw another Hook-billed Kite, along with several thousand Broad-winged Hawks – it was great fun. At exactly 1pm, we were loaded up and left. By 1:23, we were loaded into Randy and Fran’s truck, clothes changed, with a small plate of ham and cheese, and on the way. Dec 8, 2012 - Good Times with Good Friends

One of the things we enjoy most about RVing is the opportunity to meet new people and to meet up with friends we have met along the way. We always enjoy meeting up with Chris and Rick, who we met our first year of RVing at Pismo Beach, California. They now live near Austin, TX and we still try to met up whenever and wherever we can.

Nov 26, 2010 - Happy Thanksgiving

Arrived at our friends, Rick and Chris, near Austin, Texas, on Tuesday and are staying with them for a few days. We found a RV repair place we hope will fix our jacks while we are here. Chris fixed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and we enjoyed the day and the food very much. We have much to be thankful for. Much to my surprise, Ed got up early on Thanksgiving morning to hit the sales at Sears. He found something in their ad that he wanted and so away he went.
