I have been to big and small rodeos and my favorite has always been the smaller local rodeos. Tonight was a small rodeo event. The Tejas Rodeo in Bulverde Texas. This is a true family affair. Lots of families with their kids enjoying the festivities. I took over 220 pictures, and about 100 have made it to the journal. I tried to eliminate as many as possible, but these pictures give the true story of then Bulverde Tejas Rodeo. I had the pleasure of talking with several families and all were Texas Friendly Folks. Apr 29, 2012 - Guadalupe River State Park

2012-04-29 Guadalupe River State Park Up early again this morning to hit the road west to San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. We landed at Guadalupe River State Park, about 40 miles north of the Alamo. We got set up on site #66 and then drove down to the river. I’m glad we got here Sunday afternoon instead of Saturday. There was still a good crowd of people enjoying the river as late as 6:00 P.M. I’m thinking Monday and Tuesday there won’t be very many folks around. Later, Gary
