Jun 13, 2013 - Gettysburg SD - West Whitlock State Campground
Fishing on Lake Oahe was hard, which is not unusual for that lake, but we ended up getting some nice fish and a good variety. Roger got a really nice 21" inch walleye. This town had a town park, a town pool, a post office and a "beefstro". We are staying at another campsite on farmland but this one has a wonderful view. There is hardly anyone here so we were allowed to "parallel park" - that way we don't have to unhook our car and can just drive away in the morning. We have been enjoying the peace and quiet - no...Jump to full entry
