May 4, 2013 - Fayetteville RV Resort & Darlington Question

Good evening all, well after a grand southern breakfast with new friends this morning we returned to the campground got packed up and went 38.7 miles to our latest camping spot. It is one of the nicer spots this trip but the highlights are we cant hear any interstate traffic no railroad whistles and by far one of the fastest WiFi signals we have had the whole trip. Talked with our friends from Perry Sound and they are close to intercepting us likely by tomorrow, will be fun to see them again and travel with them for the next 2 weeks. Next...

Away we go 2013

May 28, 2012 - Wade, NC (May 23-24, 2012)

So, on from Georgia up the road, with nothing too exciting happening. Fine when on the road. I drove the big rig more than usual, but as usual Pete got bored and took over. We didn't travel too far each day, stopping before Pete got too tired and we could take a walk or swim before bedtime. We stopped at the Fayetteville KOA in Wade NC. It was quite a large and fancy one, with everyone getting ready for a full park for Memorial Day weekend. Feb 1, 2008 - Fayetteville, NC

Well we have made it to our next stop on our way home. We are in Wade, North Carolina, just north of Fayetteville. Very nice campground, not very big, clean, large sites, cable TV and wireless internet. The drive here wasn't all that great. Rained the whole way, not a downpour like they get in the south, but a steady rain. Traffic was fairly heavy too, so we just stayed in the right lane, as usual, and hung on.
