Oct 27, 2013 - Long Run for Prescriptions

I finished my first week of work at River Plantation. The campground is pretty big and I thought I would be getting a lot of exercise walking the grounds, but they were nice enough to give me a golf cart to get around in. Some winter weather moved in late in the week with the temperatures at night dropping into the upper 20’s making it necessary to disconnect and drain the water hose. 2013 Fall Escapade

Jul 4, 2013 - Fort Tatham NC

We moved on (in the rain) to Ft. Tathem RV park near Sylva, NC. Very pretty place. Our church friends camp there a lot in the summer as they have permanent places at this park. In between rain storms we went to lunch at Ryan's at Dillsboro on day and a family style restaurant in Franklin on the next day with Jerry and Peggy Walker and got to visit a bit with Myra and Wayne. Quite a change for us and Naomi thinks it’s great. We spent a whole day in the Great Smoky...

Year 5-Here we go

Nov 21, 2008 - Sylva, NC

We dropped our motorhome off in Marion, NC. We told the dealer we had two problems a blown circuit board and hot water. He felt that a new board would solve both problems so we packed a suitcase and went to visit Melissa at her house in Cullowhee. Because we had no place to stay we kicked her our of her bed and spent three days with her. While we were visiting we went to see Melissa and the dance team preform at a basketball game and a football game. Melissa's roommate JB parents were celebrating thanksgiving that weekend and they invited...
