Hi All! We had a very windy night last night! Everyone in the anchorage did well...no one dragged their anchor. The temps are not bitter cold so we had a reasonably warm night. Still it's nice for Tom to get up first to warm up the boat for me! We had a beautiful sunset last night. The water was a deep red and the clouds were beautiful with the sun peeking through them. River Dunes near Oriental, NC to Mile Hammock Bay, Camp LeJeune, NC (ICW MM 244.5) Left: 8:30 am - Arrive: 5:30 pm = 9 hours Miles Traveled: 70 High 58/Low 51 – Winds NNE 25-35 mph - Showers Hi All! We made it to Coinjock, NC for the night on Thursday, 11/15/12. It was a long day but made it in just before dark. We stayed at the Midway Marina for the night. We left Coinjock, NC for the Alligator River anchorage located just before the Alligator-Pungo canal on Friday, 11/16/12. We were amazed to see over 25 boats in the anchorages. We had...

May 31, 2008 - Homeward Bound

31May08 - Saturday: Today we will be heading home. Our plan is to travel about 6 - 8 hours which will place us in the Point South or hopefully Mt Pleasant SC area. I will check in with you all later...... We got a late start, had a delay at the Cracker Barrel (1.5hours, very slow service). Needless to say we just made Point South, but we are parked for the night. We just took a walk and ordered Pizza for dinner. 01Jun08 - Sunday: Woke up early and are "on the road again".
