Sun., July 9th – After breakfast at Bob Evans, we were homeward bound. We took the Chattanooga route and traveled through the scenic Ocoee Recreation Area arriving in Franklin at 5:30pm. We still love seeing those gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains we call home! 42 days, 7400 miles, 18 states plus Alberta, Canada…and it’s all just a memory now. Aug 6, 2013 - HOME AGAIN!

Sat., Aug. 3rd – At 9am, we rolled out of Estes Park with mixed emotions…sad to leave the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, happy to be homeward bound. We connected to I-70E via 36, 66, and I-25. We made it to the Triple J RV Park in Russell, KS…a nice Passport America stop-over. Apr 8, 2009 - Day 10

You know...before i started this hike, I got advice from a couple of friends about the trail, but they failed to tell me one thing...HOW HARD IT IS!! Yes, no one told me how hard it was going to be...just being out in the elements day after day, night after night will put you to the test.
