My father grew up in the Buckhead, NC area. He went to high school in Clinton, NC at the Indian School locatecd there since no other schools were available for native American children. The tribe has an annual pow-wow during the third weekend of October. I have attached a few pictures of old homesites and several pics of the 2009 pow-wow. We made it to Buckhead, NC. This is the area in which my father was born and grew up. It is also the location of the Waccamaw Siouan Tribal office.
