Jun 25, 2014 - Mexico and Phoenix

We drove to Mexico, NY yesterday. Our time was up at the other park, and we could not extend it. So, we moved on to another park as we headed north and east. I did not know there was a Mexico, NY. And, a Phoenix and even a Texas, NY. Anything s possible I guess. We had been to Ovid and Ithaca. One can learn a lot of history just looking up the background on town names! While here, we found out there was going to be a fireworks display in Phoenix. So we plugged in the city on the Garmin GPS and drove to Phoenix. The town park was full of...

Well, over the past 17 weeks or so we have thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here at the Mexico, NY Jellystone Park. We have...

Aug 26, 2007 - Mexico------New York

Hi from Mexico! Today Glenna and I headed north toward the Pocono Mountains. It was very hot, and once in the mountains we had to turn off the air conditioning to keep the truck from over-heating. The countryside was beautiful. We crossed into New York after lunch. Our evening goal was Jelly Stone Park in Mexico, New York. It's a 4/5 rated campsite with 50 amp hydro, wireless internet and cable TV. With the Nascar race tonight, I didn't want to risk satellite reception in the trees of a campground. We arrived at the campground shortly after...

Jun 5, 2007 - Extended stay in Mexico . . . New York

Settled on J and J Campground for our stay in the Brewerton NY area, where we will be dealing with our boat, the 2nd Twenty. Decision was part costs . . . not as expensive as most in the area, and location . . . about 25-30 minutes from the boat. J & J is definitely a dog friendly park . . . the owners have 3 large dogs; a Golden Retriever, a black Lab and a St. Bernard!!!
