Sep 28, 2013 - Octoberfest in Cape Vincent

Saturday the Village of Cape Vincent held an Octoberfest event in the village park. A number of vendors selling their various goods bordered the venue. There were also a couple of animal displays. The Volunteer Fire Department hosted lunch for a small fee. There was also an oompa band playing period music to round out the event.

Sep 26, 2013 - Another easy travel day

Today was another easy travel day. We broke camp in Lockport, NY and headed up and around Lake Ontario to Cape Vincent, NY where my sister Stacy lives. Stacy was so gracious to let us park our 5th wheel in her back yard where we stayed for the next five nights. Thanks Stacy!

Aug 2, 2008 - Northeast to Cape Vincent

Again this is to move the map along from Niagra Falls to Cape Vincent,NY. there is something going on up in this area and a campsite was really hard to find. We are near the St. Lawrance River. I don't even know the name of this campground. You get a discount for cash and no paperwork.

Jun 2, 2008 - Cape Vincent, NY

WE left Clarks campground about 8 AM, a new record for us. We had no trouble at the border again. The border guard asked me to open the trailer and after I opened the fridge and he didn't even bother to look in. I guess he just wanted to see my reaction when he asked. I think if I would of appeared nervous he would have done a thorough inspection. After leaving the border we went 200 yds. and took a wrong turn. This would be the first of many today. We took Hwy. 104 and then Hwy 3 to Cape Vincent. They call this the Sea Way Trail. The road...

Feb 9, 2008 - Planning of our trip.

Tom and I are planning to spend 7 days golfing and traveling in July. Our first thought is to travel to Michigan. We found a couple of RV resorts that include a golf course on the property. The reason we were focusing on this type of resort is we do not have a toad. With the price of fuel on the rise, we have changed where we plan on vacationing in July. NYS has a lot to offer, so we are looking into traveling to the Adironack Mountains. Our tentative plan at this point is to stay on a friend's lot right on the St. Lawrence River. I will...
