Jun 10, 2019 - Lobster roll

We traveled up hwy 1 to Warwick, RI and ate a lobster roll at Iggy's overlooking the bay. The roll was delicious and came with chowder, ffries and slaw which were all good. I had the clear chowder which is a RI specialty. We got back on I95 and headed to NH and are camped at the Pawtuckaway state park. Our site is right on the lake with very few campers. We're cooking scallops to continue our seafood vacation.

Jun 15, 2008 - A proper send-off

Some of the sistahs convened at Cruiser's house yesterday for a gathering before Booklady moves. The gathering started, technically, Friday evening, when MrsB took the train up to New Hampshire. The rest of us arrived early Saturday afternoon: first me, then Booklady, and finally Fenway123 after driving her relatives to Logan. When I arrived, Cruiser was busy putting the finishing touches on Booklady's gift from the sistahs: a book of pictures from various gatherings over the years.
