Today we went on a drive along the Kancamagus Highway and saw some awesome colors. We stopped by Gordi's for fish and chips and headed to Cannon Mountain for a cable car ride. While on top we went to the observation deck to catch the sights. After that we went back to the RV site to rest.

Today we hiked about 3/4 mile to visit Diana's Baths. After that we went to Cathedral ledge outlook. Then we went to two covered bridges and had fresh apple cider. Jun 26, 2016 - Two Days in the Wilderness

My next adventure was a two-day hike in the White Mountains. I love hiking in the White Mountains, particularly staying at the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) huts. To avoid the weekend crowds, I decided on a Sunday/Monday hike. I left base camp early on Sunday morning. I can’t remember it all, so I borrow from Wikipedia: “The notch became known to...

We took some of the same roads that we had taken yesterday to move toward Glen. We took a few pictures on the way, but we still needed to waste some time before we got to the next campground. In Bartlett we lucked out with room enough...
