We had decided not to have mail forwarded to us during the five weeks we were in Canada, so the return to the USA meant we had quite the exciting stack of stuff waiting for us at the Rockport post office (thank you John Strong of Key West Pakmail). My family camped at Nickerson State Park when I was probably about 14 years old. My memories of that stay were a combination of beautiful location and a long wait in the parking lot to get into the park. back in the dark ages, before camping reservations were made on the internet, a camper just showed up at the campground gate and lined up and waited for someone to leave the park.
