Being in LV now a few weeks, it's time to do what we do in any town or area that we are in, and that is EXPLORE, EXPLORE, EXPLORE. What better place to head to is a place that has so much mystery, aliens, strange lights , strange planes, and of course the major security, and those mystery trucks on hills overlooking the highway and access to Area 51, and Groom Lake. Apr 2, 2012 - Extraterrestrial Highway . . .

Today we thought it would be fun to drive up and check out “Area 51” on the Extraterrestrial Highway in Rachel, Nevada. Oh my goodness, this is one really long and relatively boring drive through a lot of barren lands in the middle of nowhere . . . but Jerry was behind the wheel and on he drove, and drove, AND drove!!!! The town of Rachel enjoys modest celebrity particularly among aviation enthusiasts and UFO hunters. The town is located along Nevada Highway 375 with an unofficial “speed limit” of Warp 7. May 18, 2008 - Rachel Nevada (The Little Aleinn)

Paul and I woke up at 5:45am Sunday morning. Ate a couple of bananas for breakfast, stopped at Ash Springs for gas and headed out to Rachel Nevada. (AKA Area 51) A 50 mile ride. Talked to a man out there that visited every year from Idaho for the UFO seminars that are held over Memorial Weekend, which is next weekend.
