9-30-09 After a windy night we awoke to one of those beautiful high desert mornings with the sunshine being interrupted occasionally by puffy white clouds! Best of all the wind wasn’t blowing. After breakfast we reviewed our itinerary, but after reviewing the time and mileage on the northern route along the Extraterrestrial Highway, we decided to stick to Highway 95 and go around Las Vegas. Sep 21, 2007 - Bobs #? birthday celebrated at Lakeside Rv park, Duchcesne, Utah..mid 70's and fishing Starvation Lake..life is good!

Sunday, 12 August, Arrived into Denali park area from 5 days in Homer earlier today to low fog and rain! Plan to stay 2 days so we can take a bus shuttle tour tomorrow to view wildlife and some of the interior of the park. Weather is not encouraging...Friday is the earliest fog, rain and etc will subside. May have to buy postcards to actually see Mt. McKinley...lol. Regarding Homer...no fish, but we had a wonderful visit! Weather terrific, spent an evening at the Salty Dawg...met an interesting couple from Maui over drinks, got caught up...

Sep 10, 2007 - Mina, NV, to Amargosa Valley, NV

Our trip continued south down Route 95, and the scenery was again mostly mountains, browns and pale greens. Every now and then we would come across a strange sight in the middle of nowhere and tried to capture them. We have noted many times that the views we see and photos we take sometimes really look like postcards. Yet we are looking at them with our own eyes.
