Oct 11, 2006 - We had not been to Nevada with the RV

We keep a little plastic map of the United States in the trailer. Little stones are placed within the state outline to show that we have spent at least a night in the RV there. We began the year having stayed in 44 of the lower 48. Our stay in Utah this summer rated an additional stone and we took this opportunity to visit Nevada. What's a hundred extra miles when fuel is over $3.00 a gallon, when you can glue a stone to a piece of plastic ??

Aug 21, 2006 - Day 2

I told David that I wanted to get a photo of the "Welcome" sign as we entered each state to use in my scrapbook....thus the photo attached of "Welcome to Utah" sign. He said "there it is" as we drove by at 60 mph. I told him he could have at least slowed down! He pointed out the Wyoming sign but I had already given up on that project! On to Fort Bridger, WY today. We were there several years ago but it was raining so hard that we couldn't see much. We are staying in a really nice RV park within walking distance of the fort.
