We landed at the Pony Express RV Campground in Maysville, MO. On our way there, we stopped by the Homestead National Monument. The Homestead Act of 1862 was one of the most significant and enduring events in the westward expansion of the United States. Jun 16, 2009 - Missouri Misery

We pulled out of El Dorado, drove 20 miles, and the check engine light came on so we stopped at the next Ford dealer to have the computer tuned up. There was a service bulletin related to the work we had done on the truck earlier this year that said this was expected. The engine was fine, but the computer needed to be adjusted. After getting back on the road, we had another blow out in Missouri. This time it caused major damage, so I had to do a little dirt track style body work.
