Jan 1, 2021 - New Years Day 2021
New Years day 2021 came in snowing. I woke up to a beautiful snow production. I am so excited for what this year has to bring; our Goals, the places we will see, the land we will buy, the team I will continue to build in doTerra. This week Zeff and Stephen went and helped Chris with the deck. Yesterday I went and started cleaning. It's not going to be as bad as I thought. I spent 5 hours there yesterday and got all the upstairs done. Almost ready to put it on the market. So looking forward to this year.

Dec 26, 2020 - Goals
Here is my first post to our new adventures. We have a few things to do yet to achieve our goals. First we need to finish the flip on the house in Liberty, Mo and sell the house. Next finish and beautify the house and farm. Then put it on the market in Mar-Apr and sell it. We have already gave away our horses and goats. So we will take the cat with us. Next we will be debt free!! So we are buying a new truck and a RV and taking out on our adventure across the United States. Keep following for updates.

Oct 29, 2020 - Walking Lowes, packing
Date: October 29, 2020 Weather: rain till 2pm, then gradual clearing Temperature: start 43º High 48º Wildlife count: Year List: Birds: 345 Prepared blueberry pancakes and sausage for breakfast, then headed for Lowes to walk during the rain. However, once we started the truck, there was no sound, no radio, no sound in navigation. Tried what we could, but nothing worked. Soooooo, instead of walking, we drove to the Chevy dealership here in Springfield. A young man got in, turned on the truck, and it worked – no one had any idea what caused...

Oct 28, 2020 - Walking Greenway Trails - more rain
Date: October 28, 2020 Weather: cloudy, rain in the afternoon and evening Temperature: start 37º High 49º Wildlife count: Year List: 345 Birds: American Tree Sparrow, Rusty Blackbird We enjoyed breakfast at Jimmy’s Egg on Battlefield – we will miss eating there for the next year, as there are none around Jackson. As it was not raining, we drove over to the Fuddruckers on Lone Pine and entered the Greenway trail there. Very few people on the trail, but the birds were active. Great walk, about 2 ½ miles. Also found the recycle center – good...

Oct 27, 2020 - Indoor day
Date: October 27, 2020 Weather: rain most of the day Temperature: start 33º High 39º highest now at 6:30pm Wildlife count: Year List: 343 Birds: Spent much of the day indoors. After breakfast, we went to Bass Pro for a 2-mile indoor walk – it was just too cool and breezy and spitting rain outdoors. On the way back, we made a spontaneous stop at Hy-Vee to buy pumpkin and whipping cream to make a small recipe of bars, which we made this afternoon. The oven baking warmed the RV nicely! Dinner was left overs and a salad. Took a walk around...

Oklahoma is to have freezing temps and rain for the next day or so, and New Mexico is to be in the...

Oct 25, 2020 - Sunday of relaxation
Date: October 25, 2020 Weather: cloudy, cold Temperature: start 42º High 48º Wildlife count: Year List: 343 Birds: We enjoyed worship with COR – Adam preached about the sheep and the goats and asked, which will we be? After a light breakfast of oatmeal, we went to the Botanical Gardens and walked – saw some birds but much of our time was spent getting a little exercise. Stopped at Walmart on the way home and bought some soup – needed something to warm us! At home, we made grilled cheese and cream of tomato soup, then went outdoors to...

Oct 24, 2020 - Change of Plans
Date: October 24, 2020 Weather: cold, breezy, cloudy Temperature: start 39º High 47º Wildlife count: Year List: 343 Birds: At breakfast, we made the decision to delay our departure to Arizona – on the days we planned to travel through New Mexico, the weather service is calling for accumulating snow and wind, a bad combination! So, starting here with Cooks, we contacted each rv park where we planning to stay and postponed 3 days – no problem. Drove out to Strafford to the Camping World store to purchase a new tire pressure monitor...

Oct 21, 2020 - Camping in Missouri
We made it to a nice camping spot along the Brazil river in Missouri, just outside of Bourbon. It's been really nice so far! I've never been to Oklahoma despite living just south of it my whole life. I liked it a lot. We started seeing some nice fall colors in the trees as we got closer and closer to Arkansas. The rest stops in Oklahoma were amazing. There was a ton of construction though. - We had to pass through the furthest north west tip of Arkansas to get into Missouri (in order to avoid toll roads). We ended up sleeping about an hour...
