Jun 13, 2017 - Yakima, WA to Harden, ID

It was sunny and windy when we left around 7 am. Some of the hills we drove by reminded me of the Badlands. On one hilltop, there were many, many windmills turning fast. The road was very hilly at first, but later the roads were pretty straight and looked flat, but were actually long inclines. We passed a few vineyards along the way. We paid 2.59 for gas in Washington, and later in Post Falls, Idaho, filled up at 2.56 at Chevron. When we got to the campground about 20 miles away, it was 2.41 cash which would probably be 2.51 credit. At one...

Sep 4, 2016 - Day 70 Hayden, ID

Day 70 Alpine Country Store and RV Park. Nice and sunny start to the day. Crossed the border for the last time at Crestor, BC. Very small crossing and quick. Didn't try to get my lettuce or celery or check on how much we bought. Shortly onto I90. Very rough road. Spotted large billboard advertising the Testicle Festival in MT. Checked on Google and it's a festival with nudity, marijuana, fried bull ball (rocky Mtn oysters) eating contests, wet shirt contests, etc. Guess there's something for everyone. Got to campground after GPS leading us...

Aug 17, 2014 - Day 2 - Yellowstone Adventure - Triple Play

Day 2 of our trip we find ourselves at Triple Play fun center in Hayden Idaho. This is about 20 minutes from Silverwood theme park which we did not go to this time. We got up, ate the free breakfast and headed to the waterpark promptly when it opened at 10am. I joined in at the waterpark this time, we went down each water slide a couple of times, except the toilet bowl water slide we went down 3 or 4 times. We went in the wave pool and I even got talked in to standing under that huge bucket of water that dumps on our heads. To cap off the...

Aug 17, 2014 - Day 1 - Yellowstone Adventure - Drive to Triple Play Hayden, ID

Day 1 - Friday we met up with Nana to have breakfast in North Bend, then we got coffee's from Starbucks, filled up the tank and hit the road. We stopped once, but pretty much plowed through the drive. We arrived at Triple Play around 5:45p. We dropped our stuff off and went out looking for a place to eat dinner. We tried to go to the Texas Road House and didn't want to wait the hour and 15 minutes, so we opted for Golden Corral. We had one of everything, or so it felt. We left there full! We headed back to Triple Play and got a round of...
