Nov 25, 2019 - Little Manatee State Park

We left on Sunday to go camping at Litte Manatee State Park for a few days before going up to Dade City for THANKSGIVING weekend bluegrass festival. We did some Geocaching in the state park and out side during those few days of fun. Going down the interstate we saw a CARVANA storage car unit hotel when you can buy a car on line and then can pick it up. It was cool how they storage the vehicle in units and you can put in the code to get your vehicle. The vehicles are stored and moved around by computers on tracks to bring them down where...

Jun 16, 2015 - Little Manatee River State Park

My first stop after leaving the big city was to stop for lunch at KFC in Wauchula , Florida. I was going to stop at windy's but I could not find a big enough parking for the trailer and truck, just down the road at KFC was a big enough parking lot. My drive time is only 1 hour and 44 minutes , so I got lunch and still had about a hour to drive and check in time is at 3:00 p.m. Arriving about 2:00 p.m. and got my camp set up , it was about time to go looking for some caches on the trails during the evening time before it got to dark to see.

Jun 15, 2015 - This Is What We Our Going To Do

Vacation trip is planned out and we we about to leave , but Norma has a eye doctor's appointment and then she has the skin doctor's appointment for surgery. We talked about what to do cancel the state park reservations or get out of Norma's hair for a few weeks. I don't see how she can live with me anyway with all the crazy things that I do !!! I'm going to go do some kayaking , geocaching and camping at a few cool places that I wanted to paddle on and swim in. Everything is all packed up and I'm ready to go the next day.

Aug 12, 2011 - Final Day in Tampa

It was our last day in Tampa. We checked out of the hotel by 10:30am and went to unload the luggage onto RockinZ. We went to get Coco and then headed for Race Friday to watch Brock in the final day race. The people that run the track did a great job. The played the National Anthem and then lined the drivers up by their race cars. They started their engines and took their line up laps and then the green flag was waived and it was a very exciting forty lap race. Brock and another boy who was only 10 had a great battle back and fourth but in...

Aug 11, 2011 - Sunny Skies in Tampa

Finally a pretty day! I dropped Brock off at the Race School by 9am and then headed back to the hotel. I did a light workout and then Missy , Ross, and me had lunch at Firehouse subs. Missy and I got a pedicure and then we went and watched Brock race. It was pretty exciting and the carts are really fast. He was winning a race and another kid bumped him and he spun out only to come back into the race and win. I'm not sure how to handle this race thing because he really likes it. I think it will make him a safer driver and teach him to be...

Aug 9, 2011 - Tropical Rainy Tuesday

It poured all day here. Brock still went to race school and learned to build the Go Kart engines. Missy rested and Ross and I went to the mall and had lunch and got him a new USB camera for his laptop to help with his animation hobby. We picked Brock up at 5pm and then had some pizza and saw the new Planet OF The Apes movie. The hotel is comfortable and in good proximity to the race school. It was pretty good and we were home by 10:30pm.

Aug 8, 2011 - Rockin Z Gets A Service

Long day of riping and running. I started out at 8am getting Brock 26 miles south to a town called Wimauma, FL. That is where the Ambassador Race School is and they teach kids and adults how to race Go Karts and Midget Karts. They are pretty serious and they have an 8 hour day of learning everything from the basics to safety to how to take the curves and build the engines. He had a blast and the picture shows him screaming down the track at 35mph. Missy, Ross and me dropped the Rockin Z off at Lazydays and took Coco to the spa. Then we...
