5/2 – 5/14 It took us two days to travel 359 miles to Sumatra, Florida (SR64, US17, US98, SR65). We had a Wal-Mart parking lot overnight in Chiefland, Florida. Along the way we stopped at a 4 star stand called The Fisherman’s Wife (US98 in Carrabelle, Florida). We both enjoyed the gulf shrimp, both boiled and fried. For about 2 weeks we stayed in a beautiful campground called Wright Lake which is in the Apalachicola National Forest. It is a small campground with no hookups. Most of the time we had one or two other campers sharing the park....
