May 2, 2015 - Osceola National Forest / Ocean Pond Campground

Ocean Pond Campground in the Osceola National Forest is a hidden gem located near Olustee, Florida. I have to think of Lucille Ball ("Oh, Lu-See!!!) to remember the name of the closest town. It's hell getting old. We located a campsite with electric which was actually in the primitive area. Really windy when we sat and had our tea and coffee though. Found out later that a tornado went through Lake City about 20 miles away from where we were parked. We ended up driving through that area and sure enough, there were a lot of trees and branches broken. The wind was still there, but it was a tailwind, so we don`t mind driving in a strong...
