I am itching to get out of town. But I am stuck at work for two more days. Something interesting did happen this morning. I was putting away textbooks for the summer (in numerical order - now doesn't that sound like fun - putting 150 5 lb textbooks in order) I was almost finished shelfing the books when the extra weight of a book I *tossed* on a top shelf caused that shelf to collapse. Jun 4, 2007 - Pensacola

Today we travel from New Orleans to Pensacola, Florida. We will cross through both Mississippi and Alabama on our trip from Louisiana to Florida. The route turned out to be very scenic. We took I-10 into Mississippi then dropped down onto US-90 to go through Gulfport and Biloxi where the aftermath of Katrina was devestating. We the returned to the 10 and went through Mobile, Alabama which was a very nice drive though the long underground tunnel was a little scary. The trip was laden with bridges of all sorts.
