Just a couple of pictures of the graduation ceremony for Hope's class and Rainbows centers graduation. They make a big celebration for the kids and parents, it sure was fun to watch my daughter with her class. And we had some great food too. Now just a couple days and we will be on the road.

Jun 9, 2010 - Naomi's A honor roll again..

Well, First this is being posted really late but I want to try and catch up so you can choose what to look at and not. Naomi has been on the A honor roll all year and we were lucky enough to be here for the last program this spring. She made the honor roll again and also the fitness 50 round club and an award for the "F cat (state testing) math test and the 50 point club for reading. She read 97.7 books. So it was really a neat celebration for us to be there for. I also got the "Prayer Corner Quilt" done for the church to hang before we...

Jun 8, 2010 - Waiting for school to be out

Hi, not much to report yet as we have been sitting still here in Lake Buler since we got here in May. Boy is it hot and humid down here. Thankfully after a couple weeks of sweating it out, we found a way to move over behind the church and plug in so we have air conditioning now.YEAH... Would not have made it much longer with highs in the mid 90's and lows in the high 70's and humidity between those two it was getting pretty miserable. We have decided that northern Florida is an Oct to April visit, we won't be back at this time of year until...

May 8, 2010 - Happy Mother's Day from Lake Butler,Fl

Another nice day for travel but it is going to get warm or should I say HOT. It’s really heating up down here and we haven’t been here at this time of the year before, sure hope we can make it without needing air until we get Naomi and head north up the east coast. We got to Palmer Solar early afternoon and got what we needed. They were heading off into town so we just decided to continue on down to Lake Butler so we could go to Church with Hope and her family and see everyone there. I really enjoy Little Rock Church, they treat you like...

Jan 4, 2009 - Bidding a fond farewell to Florida for now

We came back to Lake Butler and our parking spot behind the Church on Friday and have been busy getting packed up and spending time with Family & friends here. We enjoyed a nice dinner out with Randy, Pastor of Little Rock Church and our in-law-sort of- he's Tims Dad,and a really good friend of ours now. We sure will miss all the special people here at Little Rock and most especially our family, Hope,Tim and Naomi. It is really so special to be able to spend the quality time with family and friends that living this lifestyle, full-time...

Jan 6, 2008 - Florida here we come

Last day, on to Florida. We are camping in the backyard of Little Rock Church here in Lake Butler, Fl. They were so kind and gracious last year and made a part of the church family so this year we will be giving back some. Dave is going to be wiring the new part of the church for a sound system and helping to get the new part done and opened. This is a small church but they make you feel so welcome and we really enjoy church services, the children's part, bible study and church meals together. Great people and a really nice small town. We...
