Dec 5, 2010 - It's not all marguitas & glamour

Hello Friends and Family, We got out of the barbaric workyard and into a marina slip for the month, figuring our work is close to complete, the job of installing the wind generator above the spreaders on the mizzen went very good, its 23ft in the air,we got the quiet model and should be almost no noise because of where it is.We have now been in the water for 3 weeks, getting preparations done daily. We also got teak cleaner for all the wood outside including toerails and cockpit combing, finishing all teak with the signature catalyst.its a 2...

Apr 30, 2010 - 2 worlds-ours & ours

Hi,we have been so pre-occupied with reading books, working on the boat, socializing, having another guest on onboard for 2 weeks that we haven't typed the journal. When we left Marathon we sailed up the coast with 17 knot headwinds under fullsail,"sweet surrender" was balanced beautifully and held her course without the aid of the autopilot. We've often wished somebody would take our photo of our boat so you could picture what she looks like under fullsail going full hull speed. It was a 2 day sail to Miami with an overnight stop in Rodriques...

Mar 13, 2008 - Indiantown, FL

We made a stop in Indiantown so we could retrieve Randy's personal belongings from his old boat "Sea Scape". Unfortunately, there wasn't much to retrieve. It is unclear as to what exactly took place, but the Broker did not get most of Randy's stuff off the boat as he said he would. Randy is missing tools, sheets, towels, binoculars, harnesses and much more. The past couple of days have been rather frustrating for him. Sea Scape arrived back in Indiantown today, after sinking in the harbor at the Bahamas. The guy "Clint" that bought the...
