Jan 30, 2017 - St. Augustine

Monday, January 30, 2017 Well, our trip started out on a bad note. The bathroom door didn't latch properly so Dave tied it in the open position so it wouldn't bang around while we were traveling. The problem was that he tied it to the microwave door which must have flown open while we were on the road. Camping 2017

Oct 11, 2010 - St. Augustine/Anastasia State Park/Visit with family

We journeyed down the coast with excitement to return to St. Augustine, another favorite city. More history, more beaches, and a beautiful campground. Our greatest excitement came from visiting Eileen's Uncle Arty, her cousin, Dan, and his family. We had a great visit and did lots of catching up over a wonderful meal that Dan and Deb made for us. We enjoyed touring the lighthouse and the old city. We visited the oldest house and toured the Colonial Spanish Quarter and wished that we had more time.

Apr 23, 2006 - Starting the Trip

Welcome to our trip. We are traveling with another couple, Lois & Tom who live in Venice, Fl. We will be following each other. We have our scooters, bikes and a car to see the sites. 4/23/06 - We left St. Augustine, FL at 10:30 am. Lois and Tom left Orlando at 9:30 am. We met at a rest area on I-10 just west I-75. We both arrived at exactly the same time. We then continued to DeFuniak Springs, Fl where we spent the night. We drove 300 miles. Sunset King RV park was very nice, on a lake, nice pool and very clean.

The Bad: Barbara has developed some severe pain in her left shoulder and arm, which seems to originate at her left shoulder blade. We went to the local hospital's emergency room to see what the problem might be. Talk...
