Oct 17, 2013 - Los Angeles to West Covina

Now I start my part of the trip & can decide what I want to see & do although I’ve been quite happy going along with the flow for the last couple of weeks. As always, the members there were very welcoming but we wanted to head on so that we could visit some more National Parks. We stopped for 3 days in Holbrooke, Arizona at a wonderful KOA. As with most of...

Jun 1, 2007 - Joshua Tree NP and West Covina, CA

May 29, 2007 Today we left the Phoenix, AZ area and headed west on Route 10 to California. We had a nice drive thru the desert and crossed the Colorado River into Blythe, CA where we found a campsite located right on the River. The water here is clear and blue and Bucky had a nice cool swim. We may be out of comminication for a few days while visiting Joshua Tree Nat'l Park this week on our way to Los Angeles where we will be visiting Carol's relatives. June 1, 2007 After leaving Blythe, we drove across the desert on Route 10. The desert is...
