Dec 17, 2009 - Santa Nella Village, CA
After a very long day and many miles we were very tired. It was good to stop next to I-5 at Santa Nella Village RV for the night. We didn't do much more than eat, TV, read, and sleep. We were smelling the rain of Oregon by now. The border was within reach. So we went to bed with plans to at least make it to southern Oregon the next day.Jump to full entry
May 12, 2008 - I think this is a new record. 329 miles!!!!
We got up to find winds that were 25 to 30 with 50 mph gusts! Of course we were heading right into it. However, it was not all day just for the first 150 miles or so. We went by a lot of wind generator farms which had plenty of wind let me tell ya! I will get some pictures off camera and post soon.Jump to full entry
