May 12, 2014 - Pre-trip registration

I've been in Rancho Cucamonga for 2 days. We arrived yesterday and got our registration done. Because I got a late start on this event I could not find a motel closer than about 5 or 6 miles from the host hotel site. The weather is much warmer (low 90s) and the Santa Ana wind is just howling out of the desert. Hope it calms down for the riders tomorrow. This is the registration tent behind the hotel. I finally got photos of Mike & Sandy Piazza And Steve Prater Good thing too because tomorrow we split up and I won't see them again until we...

Oct 25, 2013 - Charlotte's baptism

We flew out to Peter's from Charleston for the baptism of Charlotte, his third daughter. Baptisms are always such a blessing; to see our children vow to raise their children in the Lord is one of life's greatest blessings. All my pictures are of Peter and his girls. Believe it or not, I did edit them!! I hope you enjoy our sweet granddaughters!

Jan 31, 2013 - Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Here we are with Chris & Deb. We saw "Lincoln" and yesterday we visited the Lincoln museum in Redlands. Both were 4 star attractions. Afterwards, we had dinner at the "Cheesecake Factory". We have Motor home in the shop and hope to get it back tomarrow. It has various issues and will probably be expensive. We are lucky we can stay with Chris & Deb especially with the dogs. If it is...

May 16, 2007 - The odyssey begins...again!

Today is departure day and we always experience a mix of emotions. On one hand we are excited to begin another journey and on the other hand we feel a bit anxious! There is a certain amount of "hand-wringing" as we leave our comfort zone and pray that we are not headed straight into the "Twilight Zone"! Our destination this time is back to Oklahoma City where we will trade in our current motorhome for a new rig. It was ordered months ago and now sits on the lot at Lee's RV awaiting our arrival. From there we will head to Missouri for the...
