Kings Canyon National Park is a rather different park. At first it is difficult to determine why this should be a part of our national park system, but there are unique aspects to it. To start with there is a section of forest that contains the giant Sequoia Trees. The largest is called the General Grant tree that is about 264' tall and has a circumference of 28 feet.
