Today the weather has improved- the rain has stopped and the wind is slowing down. We were able to meet up with Amy and Hayley at Casa Guadalajara Resturant for a great lunch and catching up with each other. It was a lot of fun. After we parted, Doug & I went over to Historic Old Town for the afternoon.It is known as the birthplace of California,where the first Europeans settled in 1821. Jun 9, 2009 - Old Town By Trolley

We have been planing to check out the San Diego Trolley since we got here. We decided today was the day. We drove over to the Santee Trolley Center, about two miles from our campground, and got our tickets. You pay $5 for an all day ticket and you can get on and off as many times as you like. You park your car in the mall and don't have to pay any fees for parking. It is a great deal and we were really impressed with the service.
