Another adventure up the PCH only this day was an exciting one above and beyond. After leaving Morro Bay the PCh turned into a two lane road that was as exiting to me as going Thur Jerome. It was winding all over the side of a mountain. When you looked over the port side of the bus the ocean looked like it was 5 miles down. Bev was not happy but she did great in trusting my judgement. We just took our time and even pulled off several times letting traffic go by. We stopped at the Hearst Castle and took a tour. 10 million dollars later and...

Mar 2, 2010 - Its raining seals along the coast!

Today we headed again to the coast although the weather was a little wet. Our first stop was Morro Bay. The small town is a working fishing village. Its famous landmark, Morro Rock, was named by Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo when he first charted this coast during his 16th Century voyage of discovery. We then headed north along the coast pass Hearst Castle. We stopped a few times to look at the sea crashing against the shore.
