Salutations from Marin County, California. We are staying in the area for 9 days and nights but thought we would break it up a bit since we have a lot planned and I (Cheryl) will be flying to L.A. for a bridal shower next Thursday and returning on Sunday. May 8, 2008 - The American Way

We left Half Moon Bay behind us and headed north on US 1 for the Golden Gate Bridge. The middle of the day is often the best time to travel through a large city such as San Francisco. Honestly though, the major part of the city sits on the northeast corner and we traveled north near the west coast of the pennisula. The Golden Gate was not intimidating at all, at least not any more so that any large bridge filled with traffic. Apr 3, 2008 - Larkspur, CA (San Francisco area)

We reached our final destination with Mark’s parents today – San Francisco (actually, we were across the Golden Gate bridge in a suburb called Larkspur). We made it to our new location with no mishaps after a minor detour took us a block or two out of our way before we found the correct route over the bridge. The RV park has no real personality like our last location, but because of the fire code and our slide out, we were given two spaces side by side so we have lots of room.
