Jan 27 Monday Main, Mainten, Maintenance...... There is never enough time in ones day to be bored, i believe if your bored - that's YOUR choice. There is always so much to learn, do, etc... Today there is a smelly issue happening with our friends RV. The whole thing still has me perplexed, RV plumbing is weird? I helped Brian flush the plumbing vents from the roof, and then back flush the grey water drain line. We are not convinced the stinky smell is solved. Jan 28 Tuesday Going to Idyllwild. Mar 15, 2013 - Idyllwild

Today we removed ourselves from another 95 degree day . Spent the day up at Idyllwild at an altitude of 5500 ft and temps in the low seventies,it was quite a nice relief. Wandered around all the little shops ,had lunch and by 4:30 headed home and hopefully to cooler temps. We took the circle route that began in Palm springs on Highway CA74 a very twisty road with drivers that drove it like they were a part of some mountain road race. The return leg was on a very good highway CA243 to Banning encountering lots of snow along the road sides...

Jan 29, 2009 - Santa Rosa Mountains

The Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains rise abruptly from the desert floor of the Coachella Valley, reaching an elevation of 10,834 ft at the summit of Mount San Jacinto. The area is a national monument and is a land of extremes. At lower levels where the monument barely rises above sea level, the summers are hot and dry. At the higher levels geometric chunks of granite tower above pine forests.
