May 23, 2015 - Not Just For Felons Anymore!

We've spent the past week just east of Sacramento at Folsom Lake State Recreation Area – Beal's Point Campground - a small (about 20 sites) full hook-up park. In late afternoon the rain ceased and the cool air started to arrive. We visited with our friends which we had not seen in a couple of years...

Jun 23, 2007 - Folsom California

Today marked the first walk for the American Volksport Convention. We traveled to Folsom California with our friends Bob and Bonnie Elder and met several other friends from San Antonio. Folsom is known for the song made famous by Johnny Cash. Its history is also steeped in the history of the California gold rush. Our walk took us along the American River out to Lake Natoma. From there we walked back into town and through its historical district. It was a fantastic start to our week.
