Mar 23, 2015 - We are Home !

We stopped in Las Vegas for a quick visit with Bill's nephew and his wife, Bill and Melissa. His nephew was named after Bill and was our ring bearer in our wedding in 1977 when he was six years old. Bill and Melissa have two great children, Raquel who just turned 11, and Ryan who was 6 in January. This has become an annual event that I look forward to every year. Classes in all aspects of knitting, weaving, crocheting, and everything that you can do with "colored thread" as my sister...

It was quite the challenge (that’s an understatement) to back out of the dead-end street where we had been staying for a week. We finally made it and were on our way. Today’s trek was to the Santa Cruz UU church in Aptos, CA. It’s supposed to be about a 2-hour ride, but with the rain and hills, it took us a bit longer. No one was at the church when we arrived and we just settled ourselves into a spot in the front of the church. We finally met...
