We drove through a part of Arizona today that is most unusual. It is a small 29 miles remote part of Arizona called the Arizona Strip. It is known for its scenic passage through the Virgin River Gorge. The highway heads in a northeasterly direction from the Nevada border northeast of Mesquite, Nevada, to the Utah border southwest of St. George, Utah. Nov 24, 2016 - Happy Thanksgiving!

Larry & I would like to wish each & every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving. We are spending this year in Arizona at my sister Joyce's home with Mom. We actually had an early Thanksgiving celebration with 23 family members this past Saturday. Most of them traveled in from California & it was a total surprise for Mom which was hard to pull off with so many folks involved. It really made her day & she had a remarkably good day as far as pain goes. We enjoyed the traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings & pie too of course. So today...
