As Sunday was another bonny day we decided we should burn off our breakfast of sausages, potato cakes and black pudding by walking around the loch at Fyvie Castle. The castle has a staggering 800 years of history and surprise, surprise ... is said to be haunted. We strolled around the 18th-century walled castle garden which had an amazing display of flowers and Scottish fruits and vegetables. There were even ripe rasberries which we picked and ate - don't know if we were supposed to. We also found the tea room which meant delicious cream...
