Today we left Annan after breakfast for Caerlaverock Castle on the Southern coast of Scotland. We arrived just after the site opened and had the site to ourselves for a while until other tourists started trickling in. This time of year is good, as it is not too busy anywhere we go. Caerlaverock is a very unique triangular-shaped castle. Built in the late 13th Century out of red sandstone, it is beautiful. Mar 26, 2006 - Manchester

What a day! We made it up the M6 (motorway) to Manchester in time to find the Reid's house (We met them in New Zealand at a campground on the North Island.), and jump on the trolley to Old Trafford Stadium. The 70 000 plus crowd was in good form, chanting and cheering. We all had a great time, especially Jake, who was able to watch his Sunday morning televison heroes live. He is in heaven!! Aug 2, 2004 - Just back from Egypt! Getting ready for the big off!!

Well, where can i start? I have just got back from Egypt, which was wonderful and hot but we were all ill!!! I had bacterial gastroenteritis and mum and chloe had very jippy tummies! which included chloe throwing up on mum on the plane home!! not fun. However, we rode camels, saw sharks and fish and got a tan and that was the most improtant thing!! It has been a bit of a whorl wind the last few days, Stuart and Angie and doing a BBQ for the family on saturday and then its off on Sunday. I have yet to pack all the wonderful presents everyone...
