Wow! What a day! 121kms of amazing cycling through incredibly scenic country. The weather wasn't so good. We left Glencoe just after 7am. Just a glass of flavoured milk in our bellies. We hoped to find a town 20-30km away for breakfast. Back on the A82, the first 10km was a long, gentle climb in a valley between monstrous mountains. The weather was clear. Breathtaking scenery. May 29, 2013 - Fort William, Glencoe, Loch Lomond & Dumbarton

Hello again from beautiful Scotland! Today we drove from Fort William in the Scottish Highlands through Glencoe and down along Loch Lomond to Dumbarton which is just 30 miles from Glasgow. Fort William is very beautiful and is a popular vacation spot because of the water sports, wildlife, skiing, hiking and proximity to Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the British Isles.
