Jun 14, 2011 - Along the northern coast of Scotland

Unfortunately, due a road closure, we have to travel up via Loch Ness again – still no monster! Turned west from Urquhart Castle through a beautiful valley – many good farms and a lot of forestry – the most we have seen. Some tall Redwoods and quiet little river valleys. Quite a lot of cattle and some grain crops. We eventually continue through the Scottish Highlands again – majestic barren mountains – until we get to Ullapool.
