We spent a night at the seaside town of Carnoustie which is best known for the Carnoustie Golf Links course that often hosts The Open Championship. While the weather wasn't great this didn't stop all the keen golfers from teeing off. They probably booked months ahead to get to play on these hallowed grounds where so many of the greats have teed off. May 25, 2013 - Carnoustie

Hello again, Today we slept in a bit, then had breakfast and headed off to play Carnoustie Golf Links which is approximately 30 miles North of St. Andrews. The Carnoustie Championship Course is a very old course with a lot of history and has hosted many British Opens. It is known as one of the hardest golf courses in the world with many bunkers and water hazards that snake across many of the fairways.
