Our first stop in Scotland is the blackish-grey stoned buildings and streets of Gothic, dark Edinburgh. You can instantly imagine what the town would have been like to live in back in the poverty stricken 18th century. There are actually people wondering the streets dressed up in traditional regalia, probably bucks and hens nights, but for us it’s like watching some sort of olden day reinactment. We head underground for a tour of Mary Kings close and venture through the 16th century streets, now buried under the streets of modern day...
